Howick framing was used in a CSIRO fire test in New South Wales.
A building was constructed using a steel roof together with steel trusses, steel wall studs with steel external cladding and exposed steel sub floor.This was exposed to a fire that emulated the scenario a severe bush fire would inflict.
The H 400 Truss machine is the latest addition to the Howick machinery range, it produces a user friendly dedicated Truss profile that utilizes the Howick double ended rivet for superior connection strength equivalent to 6 screws. The hollow rivet can also be used to bolt through for fixings.
