Howick would like to take this opportunity of welcoming Mike Seager who has recently joined the company to take the role of Business Manager – ASIA
After qualifying in Civil Engineering, Mike moved from the UK to South Africa and held senior positions with a number of large JSE-listed contracting companies in the construction of commercial, infrastructure and mining projects. In addition, he worked on contracts in Botswana, Namibia, Zimbabwe, Mozambique & Madagascar.
In 2002, Mike moved to New Zealand and spent 3 years as National Sales Manager for Dimond (a division of the Fletcher Building Group) and responsible for a product range which included roll formed steel purlins, girts and a composite flooring system.
Mike was appointed Sales Director of PWT Limited in 2006 and over the past 5 years developed new business with major steel companies in China, Japan and Korea. The company design high tech equipment for accurate control in the galvanising process and also offer consulting services in other areas of steel manufacturing systems.
We look forward to Mike’s contributions over the coming months and hope that there will be an opportunity for all our distributors to meet him at some stage in the future.
