Howick is part of an exciting game-changer in manufactured or industrialized construction, which uses technology and light gauge steel to build more efficiently.

We are in growth mode, and we are seeking a General Hand to join us on our journey, to contribute to the continued success of the company.

Family owned and operated, and based in Auckland, we are a diverse team with great company culture and work conditions.

About the role

This is a varied role with lots of different things to do including:

  • Warehouse duties, picking and packing parts
  • Packing machines for export
  • Driving, picking up and dropping off parts
  • Helping with assembly of parts
  • Tidying up around the workshop

What you should have

  • You need to demonstrate a positive, can-do attitude and a willingness to learn
  • You have a keen interest in new technology and all things mechanical
  • You have passed a minimum of NCEA levels 2 or 3
  • You enjoy working in a team and are also able to work on your own
  • Your background shows you take initiative and are motivated to learn and improve
