Howick Ltd manufactures specialist automated roll-forming machinery which is exported to over 70 countries globally for the construction industry. Howick is part of an exciting game-changer in manufactured or offsite construction which uses technology and light gauge steel to build more efficiently.
In line with the emerging global trends favouring offsite construction Howick is strategically positioned to maximise the growth opportunities throughout the world.
It is in this growth mode that we are seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join us on our journey, to contribute to the future success of the company by driving the focus of electrical and controls technology for the Howick machinery products.
This role will help lead the company in future product development requirements of both the electrical design and controls aspects of the machinery, and play a significant role within the company R&D programme.
As you will have technical supervision responsibility for the electrical production works within machinery manufacture, we would expect you to have a good level of maturity and leadership, and strong appetite to work collaboratively. Specifying equipment and assisting in the electrical procurement will also be part of your remit.
You will report to the General Manager, and be supporting the Design Manager and Senior Controls Engineer to establish professional engineering processes and best practices within the company to uphold our reputation as world-class manufacturer and exporter.
You will also have the opportunity to interact with both customers and overseas distributors as key service support, so your ability to deliver customer service is impeccable, along with your knowledge of machine processes.
