Mancini Made, a family-owned builder and design-build specialist, started in 2011 with just one person in the building (Paul Mancini). Fast forward to today, and the business has completed more than 180 architecturally designed homes, employs 30 staff, and is led by a seasoned executive team that includes directors Paul and Anthony Mancini and Marco Pezzino, plus General Manager Jaryd Wines.
The team has achieved several impressive milestones over the years. But perhaps the most transformational move came in 2022, when they established a new company: Framed by Mancini Made. Its primary role? To manufacture light gauge steel framing in-house, giving Mancini Made complete control of the supply, quality, and delivery of its frames.
Framed by Mancini Made exists, first and foremost, to meet the framing needs of Mancini Made projects. The business manufactures engineered steel solutions, including wall frames, joists, and trusses for residential and commercial construction. By bringing framing in-house, the Mancini team can protect their core business from external shocks such as timber shortages, rising costs, and unpredictable delivery delays.
It is a vertically integrated model that gives the company greater certainty, efficiency, and competitive edge. And it is working.

While Framed by Mancini Made was established to serve Mancini Made’s internal needs, it has naturally evolved into a specialist framing provider in its own right. The team now supplies external builders as well, but they remain selective, taking on projects that align with their commitment to quality, design integrity, and long-term relationships.
Based in Victoria, Australia, Framed by Mancini Made combines construction expertise with a deep understanding of architectural design. Their end-to-end offer includes quoting, design, factory production, and delivery of prefabricated framing.
Their tagline “made with integrity” reflects not just their family business values, but the long-term mindset they bring to every project. Whether they are supplying Mancini Made or another builder, it is about doing things properly.
To support the transition from timber to steel, Framed by Mancini Made needed a reliable roll-forming machine that could integrate into their workflows with minimal disruption. After extensive research, they chose the FRAMA™ 3200, citing the quality of the automation, precision and technical support.
Paul Mancini calls the support they have received from Howick “second to none” and credits the team with going above and beyond to get the machine set up just right for their needs.
The Howick machine has allowed the business to unlock efficiency and gain a new level of control - but it has also opened up opportunities. With decades of real world building experience, the team at Framed by Mancini Made are well positioned to support other builders making the shift to steel. They do not just roll and deliver framing, they know what it takes to build with it onsite. That is why they describe their offering as “framing made by builders, for builders.”

Construction is a complex and often unpredictable industry. But Mancini Made’s decision to take framing in-house has helped remove several variables from their projects, enabling faster build times, better cost control, and more dependable outcomes.
With a talented team, solid foundations, and forward thinking decisions like this one, the future is looking bright for both Mancini Made and Framed by Mancini Made.
