A winning performance

Welcome to In the Frame for August 2019.

 

This month, we’ve been celebrating after winning the New Zealand ExportNZ awards. This is a great accolade for our team and the quality of the machines we manufacture (the only steel roll-forming machines that are 100% manufactured in NZ). We are also sharing the insights from our global steel survey. We are hugely grateful for the feedback and contributions. Responses far exceeded our expectations with hundreds taking part from 65 different countries, including our major markets in North America, UK and Europe. And of course, congratulations to Dave Hawchar from Australia Wide Transportables in Perth who won return flights for two to NZ.

 

The survey insights bode well for the continued growth and evolution of offsite construction and building with cold formed steel. 81% of respondents are looking to increase their exposure to the sector this year in one form or another. The survey also highlighted the challenges faced by those looking to enter the sector for the first time.
