ExportNZ Awards Recognition. We're Cutting It!

Welcome to In the Frame for June 2019.

This month we're celebrating. It's always nice to be recognised, and recently we were pleased as punch to be honoured for our successes as a New Zealand export business. The Air New Zealand Cargo ExportNZ Awards consider all aspects of business from manufacturing processes to supply chain management, financial sustainability and leadership, so it is an honour indeed. Our CEO, Nick Coubray, was on hand recently to pick up the accolade. Outright winners will be announced at a gala dinner in late June, so we are keeping everything crossed. Watch this space!

20 Units in 27 Weeks? Not a Problem!

Horizon Offsite was contracted to supply the full structural system for a multi-unit development in Ramsgate, on the Kent coast of the UK. The 20 units were scheduled to be complete within just 27 weeks. Horizon’s highly skilled design engineers used Vertex framing software which quickly and easily translates to the Howick FRAMA machine in their state of the art factory in Cahir, Tipperary, Ireland.

Once delivered, the structural systems produced can be erected in a few days instead of months with accuracy within 0.06%, saving significantly on materials, time, and waste. See the full showcase here.
